3 Steps Back
What this financial adviser really does
I entered the Financial Services profession in 1998. Not the easiest profession I could have chosen, despite the fact it does come with huge job satisfaction, while helping many people and their families.
However, I’m constantly perplexed by the ofter poor perception of my profession. Although I can’t change this alone, or overnight, I wanted to attempt to illustrate some things about the role I undertake and the impact upon clients I’ve had through my own experiences and client stories, as well as through some casual conversations with colleagues.
My hope is that I can portray at least a little about What This Financial Adviser Really Does... so that when I’m asked what I do for a living, people no longer take Three Steps Back!
